ARY ZAP is a free multimedia application from ARY SERVICES LTD. that grants you access to a large library of live channels and events. These include sporting events, like cricket and Formula 1 races, as well as live streams of your favorite TV dramas and breaking news.
ARY ZAP is a little different from apps like Netflix, which allows you to stream content with no interruptions. Since the app streams TV channels, you will still have to view commercials and other in-app ads. You can’t purchase a subscription to get rid of them, either.
Catch all your favorite shows in one app
No matter where you are in the world, ARY ZAP allows you to access live video feeds of Pakistani channels — including news, entertainment, and religious channels. The app also provides a live video feed of Nickelodeon for younger audiences. All of these streams are provided in full HD quality, so you can enjoy watching all kinds of content without having to worry about grainy videos.
There is also a dedicated section of the app where you can find streams to live sporting events. You can even watch playbacks of both the aforementioned events or the latest episode of a TV show that you missed. With a user-friendly UI, the app is quite easy to navigate and allows you to find exactly what you’re looking for in no time.
Unfortunately, though, there are some inconsistencies in the video playback and audio. There are instances where the audio can be delayed, so it won’t match the stream exactly. The app also crashes quite frequently and can freeze in the middle of a stream. The only way to troubleshoot this is by restarting the app, which cuts into the time you can spend watching instead.
Could be better
While ARY ZAP presents viewers with a convenient platform to watch all their favorite TV channels right from their devices, the numerous bugs found in the app make it incredibly difficult to fully enjoy it. Since it constantly freezes mid-stream and crashes unexpectedly, it ultimately defeats the actual purpose of the app. However, if these issues are polished, it has great potential to become an even more popular service.
